Fish is a source of many nutrients, one of the most important for a proper child’s growth omega 3 fats. However, it is not always easy to convince them to do so.  Forget about salmon! We have tried.  It is tuna that got acceptance from the kids. Served with soft potatoes and hard-boiled egg Nicoise Salad is a wholesome, vitamin-packed healthy lunch.

Coconut & Raw Cocoa Chia Seeds Power Balls

All-time favorite, naturally, sweet power balls contain coconut, an excellent source of potassium and magnesium.  On top of it, we add our secret ingredients to spice up its flavor…and some chia seeds for an even healthier touch. Yummy!

Our Coconut Power Balls comes also in a “chocolate” version. Nothing to worry about, though! This is only a raw cocoa powder.

Oven-baked Cornflakes Chicken Nuggets

When you ask your child about his or her favorite meal, you will surely hear “chicken nuggets!” The traditional ones are filled with plenty of salt, monosodium glutamate, sugar, and are usually deep-fried. But we make this dish healthy & nutritious! Our crispy homemade nuggets are prepared without trans fats or flavor enhancers.  Oven-baked and coated in cornflakes are prepared from fresh chicken breast.

Meatballs is our smart trick of smuggling veggies for picky eaters healthy lunches. We add seasonal vegetables such as carrots, zucchini and pumpkin to the highest quality meat. Meatballs provide easily digestible protein, iron and B vitamins – that is, they increase the child’s strength, support a good blood composition and prevent anaemia. These delicious meatballs are served with an aromatic tomato sauce (100% tomatoes!). For a carbohydrate source in this dish, we provide the one most loved by children. Yes, we’re talking about spaghetti!

Our sandwiches contain of: wholemeal & white bread + healthy fats + the highest quality protein. Ham is always made of chicken or turkey. Never pork. The quality of the products is the basis for us, as our children also eat kids-boxes.

Our apple and/or peach crumble with oat crunch your kid can munch on during a break at school. Packed with fiber and natural apple  & peach sweetness. A juicy, natural fruity base will not cause “sugar rush” energy spikes and the smell of nutmeg and cinnamon is to die for!

Prepared with love from 3 simple and natural ingredients: flour, butter, and free-range eggs.  They are crispy, crunchy, and delicate with noticeable buttery notes. Yes, we are also drooling right away! Cookies in various shapes added to healthy lunch make the child more eager to eat the served lunch.

Dried fruit is our natural alternative to sweets. Did you know that there is approximately 80-90% water in fresh fruit but the drying process results in a maximum of 20-30% of the water remaining in them? Fruits served in a smaller volume makes children capable of eating more of them. Thus, they provide themselves with more nutrients! When composing dried fruit mix, we have a basic rule – they can’t be sulfurized or sweetened!

Hidden-Veggie Sausage Roll & Fresh Veggie Sticks & Boiled Egg

The Sausage Rolls dish is packed with lots of carrot and zucchini but kids don’t find the veggies there offensive! When a dish comes in a crunchy from the outside and fluffy in the inside pastry like this you can be sure that your kid’ll love it! For the sausage we use Wudy brand which is 94% of meat.  Wudy has one of the highest meat content among the sausages range available in Malta. We serve the pastry with boiled egg (for extra protein) & fresh, crunchy veggie sticks! Result? Perfectly balanced, healthy lunch!

Our snack is a cake based on yogurt, which contains a lot of calcium responsible for bone development, proteins and above all live bacteria cultures!  The microbiome is one of the pillars of the immune system. Therefore, it is not surprising that the greater number of good bacteria our kids eat the healthier they are. We add natural ingredients only.

Bread Pudding

Bread pudding is our revolution, a tribute to the planet and sustainable development. It allows us to use the bread crusts from which we have cut out the shapes and turn them into a delicious British-style dessert that has stolen the hearts of our little ones. It has a very simple composition: wholegrain-bread, milk, butter, and maple syrup. It is sprinkled with cinnamon, which has inter alia, disinfecting, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory influence on the human body.

Banana & Yogurt

Our carrot cake is a great way to increase the amount of vegetables in your child’s diet in the form of a sweet dessert. Carrots provide carotene, improving skin tone and helping to build a natural protection against UV rays – extremely important for kids in Malta. Egg is a source of lecithin and lutein – they improve memory, learning, and concentration.

Cauliflower Mac&Cheese

Healthy Mac and Cheese? Could there be such a thing? The answer is YES! We’re so excited to include this dish in our kids-box menu! Our secret is to replace a large portion of the cheese, butter and oil with cauliflower puree. We ended with a super creamy final result that we’re so proud of.  As for the source of carbohydrates we use pasta. We debunk the myth that pasta is unhealthy! Cooled pasta is a source of resistant starch, which is, among others, indispensable as food for good bacteria inhabiting our digestive system. Thus it protects against intestinal diseases (including cancer), helps regulate cholesterol and sugar levels. Cauliflower, which has a lot of nutritional value, perfectly charms the dish and is practically undetectable, even by little healthy food detectives.

Banana bread is a delicious and healthy alternative to plain bread baked with wheat flour or sweet cakes. We obtain natural sweetness by adding very ripe bananas. The bread is fluffy, light and aromatic. Perfect for a second breakfast or as a filling snack. Your child must try it!
